Our Mission
A community-development organization that enriches the Washington, D.C. region, through sustainable, broad-based collaboration, providing educational, health-wellness, and economic empowerment initiatives.
Build
We help participants build the best practices and confidence needed to thrive in online space. COVID-19 has created online opportunities to work and learning, we are preparing the Next Generation of leaders to thrive in that space.
Develop
Our 6 week “New Norm Digital Leadership” program sponsored by META Facebook engages students around several important topics some of which are: 1) The Digital Divide and Race 2) How to lead online 3) Online career prep 4) Cyberbullying 5) Online Simulations
Promote
We promote co-creation and spaces that allow learning through a race equity lens. In order for our participants to be able to create solutions to online barriers, they need to understand who created those barriers and how do they show up in their life.
Expand
With our amazing sponsors and partners, we are able to take our participants out of their “norm” and give them a “new norm” that stretches their beliefs and empowers to expand their horizons.
